Horizon CTO Delivers ISE Blockchain Module to the University of Limerick
Dr. Andy Le Gear leads the Immersive Software Engineering (ISE) Blockchain Module at the University of Limerick. Horizon is the technology powering Upstream.

Dr. Andy Le Gear, Horizon’s Chief Technology Officer, wrote and delivered the ISE Blockchain Module. The course is for 2nd Year, Block 8 students on the ISE course at the University of Limerick, April-June 2024.

The course was founded by the Collison brothers from Stripe. Stripe, Inc. a popular Irish-American multinational payment processing platform.¹

Dr. Le Gear has an equally exceptional academic background, having earned a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Ireland’s University of Limerick in 2006, where he is now offering this course.
